Indiana is mourning the loss of former governor Joe Kernan. Joe was the 48th Governor of Indiana and former mayor of South Bend. He was also a Vietnam War veteran and was a POW for nearly 11 months in 1972. Joseph Kernan died from complications due to Alzheimer’s disease yesterday at the age of 74.
