Martin County authorities are reporting one person is dead and another is facing charges after a shooting in Shoals yesterday. Deputies responded to a residence at on State Road 450 in Shoals. After arriving on the scene, a male juvenile was discovered deceased inside the home. The Martin County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police began an investigation and discovered that another juvenile man who was at the residence had shot the deceased. The juvenile was taken into custody and preliminary charged with Reckless Homicide. The investigation is currently ongoing.
