Yesterday afternoon the Knox County Health Department reported the first COVID-19 related death in Knox County. There have been a total of 161 positive cases diagnosed in Knox County since the start of the pandemic. Dr Alan Stewart with the Knox County Health Department has stated 32 of those cases are currently active. Dr Stewart also says there are signs that the virus is continuing to spread in the county and that is why he is encouraging people to wear masks when out in public.
