Glenna Kay (Claycomb) Wilson, 71, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 2:05pm, at her residence, surrounded by her husband and family.
She was born on October 11, 1948, in Vincennes, IN, to Denzil and Stella May (Chatman) Claycomb. Preceding her were her parents; a sister, Anna Etzel; and a nephews, Jeffy Etzel and Eric Snyder.
Glenna was a tax preparer for over 30 years, working in her home. She loved to read, crochet, and take care of her yard. Holiday dinners were a special time for everyone.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Warren “Stubby” R. Wilson, whom she happily married October 15, 1966; her daughter, Kelly Jo Graham and her husband, Ken, of Vincennes, IN; her sons, Mike Wilson and his wife, Sherry, of Vincennes, IN, and Warren R “Rick” Wilson and his wife, Kris, of Vincennes, IN; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 5 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 to 7:00 on Friday, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. A public graveside service will be held at 12:00 on Saturday, at the May Chapel Cemetery in Lawrence County, IL.
