Around 8:00pm yesterday evening on Monday August 17th, Knox County Jail Officers Responded to a fire alarm within the facility. Smoke was detected at one location at the jail. On duty officers were able to control the fire until the fire department arrived. No injuries were reported and the incident is currently under investigation.
