Robert “Bob” L. Stuckey, 75, of Loogootee passed away on Monday August 17, 2020 at 4:40 P.M at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 24, 1944 in Martin County, Indiana to John and Rosie (Fields) Stuckey.
Robert graduated from St. John High School. He married Judith (Buck) Stuckey on June 5, 1965. Robert managed Buehler’s IGA in Loogootee, Indiana for over 20 years. He also worked at Kimball International Factory in Jasper, Indiana, Jofco Furniture Company in Japer, Indiana, and Eugene’s Food Liner/ Grocery Store in Loogootee, Indiana. Robert was a hard worker and loved to played music, he toured with different bands.
He is preceded in death by his parents; John and Rosie Stuckey, his son, John Stuckey, and his siblings; Donald Stuckey, David Stuckey, and Mary Bridgewater.
Robert is survived his wife, Judith Stuckey, his children; Kathy (Randy) Gibson of Loogootee, IN Denise (Jeff) Padgett of Otwell, IN, his grandchildren; Travis Gibson, Justin Gibson, Cheyanna Padgett, River Padgett, Keysha Padgett, Craig Stuckey, Angel Stuckey, 5 great- grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation was chosen according to his wishes. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 22, 2020 at 1:00 P.M at Goodwill Cemetery.
