Washington resident Don Kelso was recently honored by Governor Eric Holcomb with the state’s top honor, the Sagamore of the Wabash. Kelso has spent the past twelve years as head of the Indiana Rural Health Association and has led it to the top of the class in the country as being a leader for healthcare in rural communities. He also has served on the Governor’s Health and Workforce Council. Kelso announced his retirement earlier this year. Cara Veale, another Washington native, has stepped in to take over the role. WAMW sends Congratulations and best wishes on your retirement Don Kelso.
