The Indiana State Department of Agriculture is urging motorists to practice patience and to slow down for Farmers on the roads this season. According to the most recent data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, farm vehicles were involved in 98 crashes across the United States in 2018 and two of those were fatal. The ISDA is advising motorists to leave 10 minutes early and to be aware of alternate routes to get to their destination on time. They say it is especially important to watch for wide vehicles on hills and curves in the road.
