Hoosiers with an interest in pursuig post-high school education or training are being encouraged to file the Free Application for Federal Support (of FAFSA) form. The Indiana Commission for Higher Education says there is over $350 million in state financial aid availabale, as well as billions of dollars in federal aid. FAFSA forms must be filed buy April 15, 2021 to take advantage of the financial assistance. Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education, Teresa Lubbers, says that recent unemployment data shows that Hoosiers without education beyond high school are more likely to be unemployed and the value of higher education has never been greater.
