Dry weather is expected to continue through next week. Daviess County is still under a burn ban due to the dry weather. According to the Martin County Journal, Martin County will also keep a burn ban in effect until further notice. Martin County Commissioners stated at last nights meeting they need at least another inch of rain before lifting the ban. Knox County officials also extended the burn ban for Knox County last night.
