Record number of Hoosiers cast their ballots for the November election early on Tuesday

There were a record number of Hoosiers that cast their ballots for the November election early on Tuesday. The highest totals of Hoosiers voting early were in Hamilton County where roughly 2,100 people waited in long lines at early voting locations. 1,087 people voted in St. Joseph County on Tuesday. and 1,300 people voted between voting locations in Clark and Floyd Counties in southern Indiana. Longer lines were the theme as people were practicing social distancing and voting equipment was cleaned between uses. For Daviess County, hours for early voting are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. The courthouse will also be open for voting on Saturday, October 24th and October 31st, from 8am until 3pm for voters who cannot make it during regular office hours.
