Kenneth Junior Arnold, 87, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg, IN.
He was born August 6, 1933 to Mamie (Tharp) and Kenneth Arnold, Sr., both of whom precede him.
A 1951 graduate of Otwell High School, he married Martha Jane Ice on May 28, 1954. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956.
Kenneth worked for Midwest Telephone, sold Moorman’s feed, was a farmer, and worked for Dubois County Co-Op. He attended and served as Deacon at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Algiers until its closing.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Martha Jane Arnold; sons Dennis (Brenda) Arnold of Otwell and Gary Arnold of Petersburg; daughter Joy (Michael) Beasley of Paris, IL; grandchildren Amy Arnold of Petersburg, Jeremy Arnold of Otwell, Todd Arnold of Petersburg, Dawn Busic, Joy Wilson, Hannah Fougnies, Josiah Arnold, Katie Wynn, and Macala Beasley; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm EST on October 9, 2020 at Arnold (Caress) Cemetery, with Reverend Gary Arnold officiating. Masks and social distancing will be maintained at the graveside, by request of the family and funeral home staff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth’s memory to Arnold (Caress) Cemetery for the continued maintenance and care of the cemetery property.
