The Daviess County Treasurer reminds taxpayers that the second installment of taxes is due by Tuesday, November 10th.
The Treasurer’s office will be closed this week on Wednesday, October 21st, Thursday, October 22nd, & Friday, October 23rd for moving into the new Daviess County Government Center. There will be no admittance to the offices and no phone calls will be answered during this time. We will reopen on Monday, October 26, 2020 with normal business hours. The Daviess County Treasurer’s office would like to encourage mailing your payments again this fall. The new mailing address is:

There is also a drop-box available inside the east door ramp of the court house by security. Please place your check or money order & tax statement in an envelope. If using the mail or drop box and you would like a receipt mailed back to you, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
Full or partial payments can be made at any time. Taxpayers are urged to mail early because some mail deposited late on November 10th might not be postmarked until the next day. The penalty is determined by the postmark on the envelope. Payments postmarked or made in person after November 10th will automatically incur a penalty.
The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The office will be open Saturday, November 7th, from 8:00 a.m. until Noon, for the convenience of the taxpayers. The south side door of the government center will be opened.
Credit card payments can be made through www.govtechtaxpro.com or by calling 844-678-1656. Payments can also be made by credit or debit card or e-check for the convenience of the taxpayer.
