Daviess County unemployment rate still lowest in the state

Despite economic set backs from the COVID-19 pandemic, Daviess County still has the lowest unemployment rate in the state. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Daviess County currently has an unemployment rate of 3.1%. This is just a 1 percent increase in comparison to September of 2019.  Knox County’s unemployment is currently at 4.3%, Pike County is at 4.9%, and Martin County currently sits at 3.5%.
