The Daviess County Board of Commissioners met in the Daviess County Courthouse on Tuesday for the final time. All future meetings will be held in the new Government Center which the county moved into last week.
Many present and past office holders were recognized at the meeting and had a chance to address the board on their thoughts and memories of serving Daviess County. Former Commissioners Larry Wilson and Steve Myers attended the meeting and shared many of their memories. Former auditor Gail Doades and current councilman Mike Sprinkle also shared memories and positive comments on the annex. The end of the meeting was full of discussion between past and present office holders who all shared their excitement for the future of Daviess County.
