On Thursday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 4,462 new cases of coronavirus across the state. That’s a new single-day record for positive cases. That number brings the total number of Hoosiers who’ve tested positive for COVID-19 to 196,176. The department also reported 45 new deaths, bringing the total number of Hoosiers who’ve died from the virus to 4,269. So far, just over 3-million Hoosiers have been tested for the virus. The state’s overall positivity rate has risen to 6.1-percent.
