There will be a meeting after school in the Cafeteria tomorrow for 6th to 12th grade girls wanting to play softball this year at Washington. Open Gyms start in December and fundraisers will be discussed. Every girl will need to have the paperwork filled out before Thursday and submitted to the athletic office.
There will be no Junior High Open Gyms for the rest of November!

The NFL Pro Bowl will play out this year on the EA Sports Madden 21 Video game virtually after the real-life version of the All Star game was cancelled. Fan voting started yesterday for the virtual pro bowl which will include players who made it to the Super Bowl because they won’t have to attend and play in real life. The NFL says they are uniquely positioned to transform this high profile game from live to virtual this year.
Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy says the injury to quarterback Nick Foles was not as bad as initially thought from Monday night’s loss. Nagy says the injury is a bruise and strain on the hip and glute area. Foles was scheduled for more tests yesterday following the hip pointer but is expected to be back following the Bears bye week.
Big news in baseball yesterday, as Chicago Cubs GM Theo Epsetein announced he would be stepping down as the clubs president of baseball operations. Epstein was the architect of the drought-busting Cubs Championship run in 2016. Epstein told Cubs management of his decision yesterday. The General Manager Jed Hoyer has been dubbed to step in and take his place.
