On Monday, the Indiana Department of Health reported 2,494 new cases of COVID-19 across the state. That brings the total number of positive cases to 496,306. The department also reported 43 new deaths, bringing the total number of people who’ve due to the virus to 7,539. So far, over 5.5-million Hoosiers have been tested for COVID-19. Indiana’s overall positivity rate is at 8.1-percent, while the seven-day positivity rate sits at 11.5-percent.
