Small businesses in Washington will be receiving relief funds from the City’s COVID Small Business Relief Grant. On Monday evening, Washington’s City Council approved a letter of recommendation from the Southern Indiana Development Corporation and sent a authorization letter to OCRA for the first draw of grant funds.
The Council also passed a resolution and agreed to send a check in the amount of $376 in tax reimbursement to the owner of the property located a 501 S. Meridian.  The City had agreed to purchase the property for $40,500, but there was misunderstanding about the $376.
