Daviess County Commissioners meet with full agenda

At yesterday’s Daviess County Commissioners Meeting, the board approved $25,000 in COVID relief funds for 4 local businesses. These 4 businesses applied for the relief funds through a grant process and were not named at the meeting.

In addition, the Commissioners approved the 2021 Immunization fees and approved a CSI contract along with with additional endorsements for Hoosier insurance to cover the annex and county vehicles. The commissioners also agreed to extend a COVID-19 leave policy through March 21st.

The board also reviewed 2021 appointments and approved all except for the Westgate Authority by request of Commissioner Arnold. Arnold says he wants an update on what’s going on with the authority board before moving forward.

The commissioners also agreed to table a resolution regarding transfer of Cares’s Act money received last year into another fund. They agreed to work with the county council on a plan for transferring the funds and dispersing them in the future.
