
The latest COVID-19 numbers were released yesterday by the Daviess County Health Department. The new data now shows Daviess County has seen a total 2,647 cases since the start of the pandemic. That’s up 26 cases from Monday. In addition, one more death was also reported bringing that number to 73. A total of 10,569 people have been tested in the county to date.
Daviess County is still in “Red” Status on the ISDH map and is currently showing a 7-day positivity rate of 16.2%. Knox County, Dubois County, and Pike County are also still in “Red” Status. Pike County was recently flagged by the state due to a large number of weekly cases. Pike County currently has a 7-day positivity rate of 16.6%.
