The Daviess County Health Department has released the latest COVID-19 numbers. 20 more cases of the virus have been confirmed since Wednesday. That brings the total case count for Daviess County since April of 2020 to 2,267. One additional death was also reported bringing that total to 74. 10,628 residents have been tested to date in Daviess County.
Daviess County is still showing red status on the ISDH map, however, the weekly case numbers have been decreasing. In light of this, Dr. Holsopple has decided to allow cheerleaders, band, and dance teams to participate in sporting events and perform effective immediately.
