Traffic stop leads to arrest in Vincennes

A man was arrested in Vincennes on Thursday after leading police on a foot chase. Around 1am, police attempted to stop a vehicle at 6/Locust for an equipment violation. The driver immediately exited the vehicle and began running. He climbed up 10 foot fence and then climbed onto the roof of a church. The Vincennes Fire Department was dispatched for a drone while Vincennes Police Officers, K9 units, and Indiana State Police established a perimeter around the building. They attempted to persuade the male to surrender. He eventually jumped off the building and lead police on a brief chase before being caught. The male was identified as Cameron Rund and found to be wanted on an Indiana felony warrant for failure to return to lawful detention. He was charged with resisting law enforcement, operating while never licensed, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief.
