The Washington Lady Hatchets grabbed another win last night on the road at Princeton 59-38. Four Hatchets posted double digits in the balanced scoring attack. The Washington Jr High 8th grade Lady Hatchets got a Win on the road at South Spencer 31-15 to advance to the second round of the conference tournament later this week.
The Barr Reeve Lady Vikings grabbed an overtime win at home over Wood Memorial 38-33. The Lady Vikings go to 12 and 4 and wrap up the season Thursday at home with North Knox.
The Washington Catholic girls lost a tough one to Dugger yesterday 40-36. WC will wrap up the regular season Thursday at Bloomington Lighthouse.

Purdue guard Jaden Ivey was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week, becoming the fourth different Boilermakers rookie to earn the honor this season. Ivey lifted the Boilermakers to a win at then-number 15 Ohio State with a step-back, game-winning 3-pointer in the final seconds. He averaged 13.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in Purdue’s two games last week.
Butler takes on UConn Tuesday night at 8:30 as the Dawgs aim for their third straight win. The Bulldogs and Huskies faced off in the 2011 National Championship game, but Butler has never played at UConn. The Dawgs have not played in a week after Friday night’s game against Seton Hall was postponed due to what turned out to be a false positive COVID-19 test. Butler is 5-7 overall with a 4-5 Big East
The Indiana Pacers bounced back with a 129-114 win over the Toronto Raptors behind a career-high 36 points from Malcolm Brogdon. The Blue and Gold outscored the Raptors by 14 in the fourth quarter to split with Toronto after losing Sunday night. Brogdon added nine assists and seven rebounds as the Pacers improved to 10-7.
