Fewer people are looking for work in Indiana than in any other state in the Midwest. The latest numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics put Indiana’s unemployment rate at four-point-three-percent. That’s the lowest in the Midwest. Minnesota is close at four-point-four-percent. Illinois and Michigan are both at nearly seven-and-a-half-percent. Ohio’s jobless rate is five-and-a-half-percent, and Kentucky’s is six-percent. Back in April, Indiana’s unemployment rate was a record 17-and-a-half-percent.
