On Thursday, the Indiana Department of Health reported 2,890 new cases of coronavirus across the state. That brings the total number of Hoosiers who’ve tested positive for COVID-19 to 619,995. The department also reported 34 new deaths, bringing the total number of people who’ve died due to the virus to 9,504. So far, nearly 3-million people in Indiana have been tested for coronavirus. The state’s current overall positivity rate is at 10.7-percent, while the seven day positivity rate sits at 8.9-percent.
