Evelyn Delight (Stone) Padgett age 61, of Loogootee, passed away January 27, 2021 at the Loogootee Nursing Center. She was born February 8, 1959 to Donald and Yvonne (Tinkle) Stone. She married Joe Padgett and he preceded her in death.
She attended Shoals Community Schools and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her mother, Yvonne Stone; children, Donald (Melanie Hogrefe) Gibson, Adam Gibson and Julie Lents; grandchildren, Braden Gibson, Amelia Hogrefe, Bethany Lents, Jonathan Emmons, Jacob Gibson, Colton Gibson, Bryson Gibson and Emma Gibson; one great grandchild, Layla Lents; siblings, Mary Jo Mullins, Sonya Davis, Darren Stone; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by her father, husband and one brother, Randy Stone.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM Monday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals, with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 9 – 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.
