Vincennes police arrest two during drug bust

Vincennes Police arrested two people on drug charges over the weekend. On Saturday, officers with the Vincennes Police Department received a tip that drugs were possibly being dealt out of the side door of a local motel. Officers conducted an investigation and discovered two suspicious vehicles in the parking lot of the motel.
Around 6:40 PM, the vehicles left the parking lot. Both vehicles were stopped for traffic violations by Vincennes Police. During one of the stops, police arrested a female passenger, identified as Maria Beamon for drug offenses. Police also arrested Larry Conrad during the other traffic stop. He admitted to smoking meth in the parking lot.
Later in the evening, a search warrant was served on the hotel room. The search warrant yielded more methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and items commonly associated with dealing methamphetamine. Conrad was charged with Operating While Intoxicated, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Paraphernalia. Beamon was charged with dealing Methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a common nuisance.
