The Washington Police Department is investigating a shooting incident. On Tuesday, around 2:07am, the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call advising that a 25-year-old male had been shot in the neck or shoulder at the Jamestown Square Apartments. Officers with the Washington Police Department, Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, and Washington Fire Department responded to the scene. The male was transported to Daviess Community Hospital where he was treated for a gun shot wound and released. The incident is currently under investigation by Washington Police Department Detective. No other details have been released.
