Daniel J. Spears, 68, of Loogootee, went to meet his Savior on Monday, February 8, 2021 at his home.
He was born April 11, 1952 in Whitfield, Indiana to the late Elmer H. Spears and Mary E. Stoll.
Dan was a follower of Christ and was always there to help anyone in need. He retired from Versteel in Jasper and loved yard work and taking care of flowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer H. Spears and Mary E. Stoll; siblings, Elmer L. Spears, Larry Spears, Judy (Bob) Bruner, Alberta (Charles) Beatty, Mary Jo (Jim) Blackman and Paulette Eichmiller.
Dan is survived by one sister, Patricia S. (Tom) Fischer of Cannelburg; sisters-in-law, Marlene Smith of Odon and Kathy Sims of Loogootee; brother-in-law, Fred Eichmiller of Loogootee. Dan also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.
