A Vincennes apartment fire has claimed the life of a young girl. Fire crews responded to the fire at North 7th Street around 3am Tuesday. Two people were rescued from the ground floor and a latter was used to rescue more people from one of the upper floors. Two of the victims were transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Vincennes Fire Chief Brett Bobe confirmed on Wednesday that a three year old girl had died. The fire is currently under investigation by State Fire Marshals. The name of the young girl has not been released.
