Vincennes Police seize 105 grams of meth

Vincennes police arrested a wanted felon over the weekend. On Friday, around 7:33 PM, Vincennes Police were on patrol and observed Mark Baughn, a wanted suspect, get into the drivers seat of a vehicle near 15/Broadway. Baughn had an active Level 2 Felony warrant for Dealing Methamphetamine. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but were lead on a chase. The chase ended when Baughn slid into a snow drift. With the assistance of a K-9 unit, officers recovered approximately 105 grams of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and syringes.
Baughn was also found to have a misdemeanor warrant out of Lawrence County, IL. He was transported to the Lawrence County jail. He was placed under arrest for his two active warrants. He also charged with Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, Reckless Driving, and Possession of Controlled Substance.
