The United Way of Daviess County is planning to host their 2021 Day of Caring event on Tuesday, May 11th. The event was cancelled last year due to the pandemic. The United Way says they will be keeping current with COVID-19 developments, but as of right now they are planning on moving forward for a May event. The Day of Caring takes place each year and involves volunteers who donate their time for a day to various organizations funded by the United Way. The United Way says they are currently looking for sponsors, businesses to supply volunteers, and agencies with projects that need to be done.
