19 pounds of marijuana recovered during traffic stop

A man from Louisville was caught with 19 pounds of marijuana on Monday. Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a car for tailgating Monday afternoon on I-64 in Gibson County. When officers approached the car they said they smelled marijuana and decided to search the car. Christopher Campos was the passenger and admitted to the deputies that the 19 pounds of marijuana they found in the car was his and that he intended to sell it. There were also two children in the car as well and they were not wearing seat-belts. CPS was notified of the incident and Campos was taken to the Gibson County Jail.
