Washington’s new Police Chief has been officially sworn in.
Mayor Rhoads officially swore in Derrick Devine on Friday as the Washington Police Department’s new Chief.
Chief Devine has served the City of Washington since 2008 and has held ranks as Patrolman, Sergeant, Captain, ERT Member, and K9 Unit.
Device takes the place of former Chief Todd Church who retired this month.
Church served the community over 30 years on the police force.
