Pike County traffic stop leads to drug arrest

Indiana State Police recovered several drugs during a Pike County traffic stop. Monday night, a state trooper stopped the driver of a 2007 Ford Mustang on SR 257 in Otwell. The driver was stopped for failing to signal and was identified as 37-year-old Edward S. Meade of Elizabethtown, KY. A passenger was identified as 46-year-old Leslie Mousseau-Seller, of Louisville, KY. During the traffic stop, troopers found meth, paraphernalia, and a controlled substance. Troopers also discovered Meade was in possession of a handgun. Meade is considered a serious violent felon and is prohibited from possessing a handgun. Meade and Mousseau-Seller were arrested and taken to the Pike County Jail.
