Students at Indiana University are pushing to get their Fall and Spring Breaks back. Due to the pandemic, Indiana Univeristy cancelled all breaks for the current academic year. I.U. officials recently announced a return to normal for next year, but did not include a fall break in the schedule. Thousands of IU students have signed an on-line petition demanding the school re-institute both fall and spring breaks. The students say the breaks are vital to students’ mental health and with COVID vaccinations being made available to more Hoosiers, the students are confident that the breaks can be taken safely.
