Saturday will be a busy day in Washington. Fans of four teams, hoping their favorite earns one of the two places in the IHSAA State Finals next week, will be coming to town. While the Vikings have had a successful season against a beefed up schedule, Tindley comes in having played an Indianapolis based schedule against 4A and 3A school. Tip off for Game 1 is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon…with the gates to the Hatchet House opening at 1 p.m. WAMW will be broadcasting Game 1 with fans in the stands beginning at 12:30.
Game 2 also features an area team. The Southridge Raiders led by their star, Colton Montgomery, come in with a deceiving record but are playing well. Southridge will face off against Parke Heritage. The Wolves come in with a stellar 26-3 record and a #5 ranking in Class 2A. Game time for Game 2 is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
