The Town of Odon has had to back off its plans to make the town’s local elections non-partisan. According to Susie Roach, Odon Town Board President, after the story about the Town Council considering making local elections non-partisan was published, the Town of Odon was contacted by county election officials who told the Odon officials they could not make the change due to State statute. The proposal had its first reading before the Town Council.
