The City of Washington continues its Spring fire hydrant flushing. Today the lines located in parts of the eastern and southeastern sections of the City are on the schedule. Residents in these areas are reminded to check their water for discoloration before doing laundry.
Streets on the hydrant flushing schedule for today include: State Road 257 to Belle Terre Drive, Old Highway 50 to Bussard Road, State Street, SE. 14, SE 15th, Hillside Drive, Jan Ann Court, Hazel Street, Williams Bros. Drive, Sullivan Drive, Jamestown Square, E. Van Trees from 11th Street to NE. 21st, Bixler Road to New Hope Church, Bussard Road, Donaldson road, Knepp Drive, Ridge Court, Woodlawn Drive, Central Drive, Troy Road, and Clover Drive. This will affect all businesses and residential facilities in the area.
