Washington Officials Encourage Applicants for Small Business COVID Relief Grants

The City of Washington has money to give to the city’s small businesses, if they apply.   Washington applied for and received a $250,000 grant through the federal and state goverments.  The small business grants are being administered by the Daviess County Economic Development Corporation.  Mayor David Rhoads says that about $150,000 remains to be distributed.   After Monday’s City Council meeting, Mayor Rhoads told WAMW how local businesses could apply for a grant.

The Mayer and the members of the City Council encourage local businesses to apply for one of these grants.
