A 4-year veteran of the Indiana State Police has been arrested.
Ryan L. Griffith was arrested on Thursday in connection to an incident that happened on February 27th.
Griffith, who was off duty at the time, allegedly touched a female victim in an unwanted manner at a private residence in Crawford County.
Police also say he is accused of providing false information to investigators during the investigation.
Griffith was charged with Sexual Battery and False Reporting.
He was taken into custody without incident and is being held in the Crawford County Jail on a $7,500.00 cash bond.
Griffith has been placed on administrative leave without pay until the conclusion of the criminal proceedings, at which time, an internal investigation will be conducted to determine discipline.
