The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department will soon have some new officers out and about.
Two new deputies were sworn in on Thursday by Daviess county Sheriff Gary Allison.
Deputy Doug Mott has been with the department since 2009 serving as a Corrections Officer and Deputy Derek Andrews has been with the department since 2007 also serving as a Corrections Officer.
In addition, the Washington Police Department recently congratulated Washington PD Officer Doane for graduating from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
