A Knox County Councilman passed away over the weekend.
According to Police, Councilman Randy Crismore passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday.
The cause of death has not yet been released and funeral notices have not yet been posted.
In addition to serving on the Knox County Council in District One, Crismore was also the former president of the council and a retired police officer .
