Washington’s City Council passed an ordinance allocating $15,000 in State and Federal COVID Relief Funds to three Washington businesses at Monday night’s meeting.
The three businesses were Kavanaugh Lawn Care, Top Notch Boutique, and J&C Transportation.
The City received a $250,000 COVID Relief Grant through the State of Indiana.
As of Monday night, the City still has $145,000 remaining in the account.
Mayor Rhoads and the City Council encourage eligible businesses to apply for the grant.
Applications are available at the Daviess Economic Development Corporation offices.
