David Denman

David Allen Denman of Waynetown passed away Tuesday night at IU Arnett in Lafayette.  He was 65.
David was an accomplished musician, along with his father, brothers and other family members.  He enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking and repairing old instruments.  He liked to spend time with family and taught his grandkids to play several instruments.  He was a master tool and die maker, as well as engineer, that worked side by side with his brothers for over 40 years.
Born March 31, 1956 in Washington, Indiana, he was the son of Lowell Denman and Betty West Denman.  He graduated from Crawfordsville High School.  On June 5, 1976 he married the former Cindy Taylor. She survives.
Surviving family includes: his wife, Cindy Denman; three daughters, Amie Denman-Lauderbaugh, Dara Denman, Kayla Todd; five grandchildren, Emma Lauderbaugh, Sam Lauderbaugh, Brenley Lauderbaugh, Raymond Todd and Sarah Todd; two brothers, Dan and Jim Denman; along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 PM Sunday at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash, Crawfordsville, with a service starting at 7 PM, led by Pastor Bob Fairchild.  A private burial will be held at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery at a later date.
