The NTT IndyCar Series continues this weekend on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. The 2021 season got underway last weekend at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, with Alex Palou (Puh-LOW) earning his first career victory in his first start for Chip Ganassi Racing. The 24-year-old Spaniard was followed on the podium by former series champions Will Power and his Ganassi teammate Scott Dixon. Among the drivers looking to bounce back this week include Josef Newgarden, who has won the last two races at St. Pete, but wrecked on the first lap at Barber and finished last. The 100-lap Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will go green Sunday shortly after 12:40 p.m. Eastern. Last year’s St. Pete race was pushed to October for the championship-deciding season finale due to COVID-19.
