Colton Herta responded to an unhappy season start by taking the checkered flag at St Petersburg yesterday. The twenty-one year old Andretti Motorsports driver made an early exit in last week’s season opener in Birmingham, AL at Barber Motorsports Park. Herta started on the pole for Sunday’s race and led a record 97 laps. The young driver now has five wins to his resume since making his IndyCar debut in 2018

The NFL Draft is now three days away. As of Friday thirteen NFL hopefuls have confirmed their choice to participate in person in Cleveland. Projected first overall pick and former Clemson Tigers quarterback Trevor Lawrence is not one of them. Five of the thirteen in attendance will be former Alabama Crimson Tide Players. Draft analysts for CBS and Daniel Jeremiah from NFL.com are currently offensive Tackle Christian Darrisaw to fall to the Colts at twenty-one.
