A train caught fire near a railroad crossing in Fort Branch Sunday evening.
CSX says the train was hauling rail ties.
Smoke was first reported coming from the train as it was passing through Evansville and heading into Gibson County.
A fire started by the time it came to a stop in Fort Branch where it was put out by Fort Branch firefighters.
No one was hurt.
