Census data shows Indiana has added 300,000 people

indiana-3

The latest census data shows Indiana added 300,000 people since the last count making the state’s population about 6.8 million people.
That increase was not enough to give Indiana more representation in Congress, but it could mean more federal money.
Indiana is keeping all of its nine seats in Congress. Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio are all losing a seat because their populations dropped over the past decade.
